"Where to even begin!!! Sarah planned and designed our wedding in Bordeaux, France. She is a dream person to have by your side - from idea creation to full on execution, she’s incredibly thoughtful and detail oriented. She’s talented, dedicated and extremely hard working.
Sarah did our flowers & decor in addition to our planning. Her design eye is lovely and on top of that she’s organized and thorough.
What’s somehow even more impressive about Sarah is her consistent attitude. Not only was she very communicative, but she was kind, positive, and adaptable. In moments I felt vulnerable or had doubt, she always made me feel heard & seen and was always available to me.
In an emotional period, she’s a guiding light and always very genuinely happy to help. For such an important day, I feel very grateful that she was our wedding planner.

"I recently had my wedding in France, and I can't thank Sarah enough for making it all possible! Initially, I worked with another wedding planner unfortunately recommended by our venue, but it turned into a nightmare. After five months of stress and frustration and zero work done, we ended that contract and, thankfully, found Sarah.
With only five months left and so much still to plan, I was worried it would be impossible to pull off the wedding I had envisioned. I was hopeless, tired and terrified that my wedding would be a disaster since my husband and I don’t live in France and we needed someone to help us to manage everything.
I know it sounds cliché but Sarah was literally a light in the end of the tunnel for us. From the moment we started working with her, everything changed and I was finally able to enjoy wedding planning and trust someone to help me to make our dream come true. She immediately took charge, resolving all the outstanding issues within just a week. She literally took seven days to managed everything that my previous wedding planner didn’t do in five months!
Sarah was incredibly organized and communicative, holding frequent video calls and staying constantly available through email and WhatsApp. Her responsiveness and efficiency were truly remarkable, allowing us to catch up on everything in record time. From this moment I was finally able to believe that I could still have my dream wedding.
Sarah is not only a master problem-solver but also an exceptional negotiator. She has an extensive network of fantastic vendors who offer top-notch services at very fair prices. She has also made the design of the wedding and all our guest were speechless with her flowers and decor that were half of the price of the market! I had the dream ceremony and dinner table with lots of flowers and chandeliers! She has amazing ideas and very good taste and my bouquet was perfect!
Sarah truly cares about her clients and even offered us a LOT of free things from her decor to make sure I had the decor of my dreams with the budget that we had.
I also need to mention that we had several issues with the owners of our venue and Sarah went above and beyond to help us, always being an amazing communicator and making all the efforts that she could to help us to have a smooth planning. She just did way more work that she had to without asking anything back from us. Sarah is just the kind of person who wants to help you without expecting anything back and this is rare!

"We recently got married in France with Sarah as our ‘partial planner.’ Initially, I thought I could organize everything myself, despite not living in the country or speaking the language. It soon became clear that we needed professional help, so we brought Sarah on board to assist with our wedding. I say ‘partial planner’ because she ended up being that and so much more.
Planning a wedding involves countless details, many of which we had no idea about. Sarah guided us through the process, recommending and securing vendors that matched our vibe and budget. No request was ever too much for her, and no silly question was ever too little.
Sarah was an amazing master problem-solver but also a magic worker. Sarah was able to find people from half-way across the world who were looking to come over to France for the summer to shoot weddings. We ended up booking them and could not have been happier. Without Sarah and her array of connections we would NEVER have found them!
Sarah also supplied the flowers and decor for our wedding (at a massively reduced cost), even throwing bits in for free just so it was perfect for us. Her eye for detail, design and creating the perfect day had all our guests shedding a tear.
Sarah truly cares about her clients, there was never any doubt in my mind that Sarah was there for us and cared for our day. We struggled with venue and the owners throughout the process, and Sarah went above and beyond to support us, she did everything in her power to ensure smooth planning. She handled so much more than she needed to without expecting anything in return.
Despite the challenges, she remained professional and shielded us from the stress caused by the venue owners over the wedding weekend. Sarah brought our dream wedding to life, and I am grateful for her.

"I cannot say enough about our experience with Sarah.
My husband and I were married in Tuscany in October of 2023. Planning a destination wedding from America made me incredibly anxious. Sarah made things easy every step of the way. From visiting venues on our behalf, FaceTiming and sending videos from venues in our short list, sending lists of suppliers to choose from and coordinating with ALL of them, staying in or under budget and coordinating accommodations/ transportation for our 45 guests traveling to Italy from the US, our experience was perfect.
Every single thing about our three day wedding event was perfect and beautiful. She was onsite with us throughout, and I sincerely did not have to worry about one thing.
She is incredibly passionate about her work and it was on full display. Our entire family connected with her throughout our celebration.

"We hired Sarah for our July 2023 Destination Wedding in France and she was by far the best money we spent!
Sarah was incredible throughout our planning process and on the day itself. Working with her was a complete dream, sharing vision boards, discussing our fairy-tale day and exchanging ideas for her and her team to bring to life! It was more than we could ever had imagined. Sarah has a true talent and works tirelessly to ensure your day is P E R F E C T! Being that Sarah can also speak fluent french made the process of her booking our vendors super easy for us!
Sarah also does beautiful flowers, so obviously we used her for this too.
We were fortunate enough to visit our French Chateau venue with Sarah, so we were able to meet and get to know her on the lead up to our big day, she arranged a food and wine tasting for us during our visit which let to us booking our caterer.
We were so impressed with Sarah and it was a pleasure having her plan our wedding and she also did our ceremony which was personalized for us. Any problems that cropped up, were no issue and dealt with. We couldn't recommend her enough.

"Sarah was by far the best money we spent on any supplier for our wedding. We went for a styling / coordination on the day package and she went above and beyond for us.
We got on so well with Sarah and she has a true talent for making your wedding day look stunning. She has beautiful props and things to use as part of the package and she also does flowers. They were a very reasonable price and she made them looking better than I could have imagined.
I took Sarah through loads of Pinterest ideas and sent her moodboards and she created our dream wedding.
She was very helpful with communication with suppliers where needed and helped us choose our wines, as well as order it straight to the venue.
She is fluent in french which is super helpful if your getting married in France. She even went above and beyond and helped us with staffing problems for days before the wedding, which she was able to resolve for us.
I would 100% recommend Sarah to any bride. She is also very kind and a very genuine person."

"If you are an American couple looking to get married in Europe, we highly recommend And Then We Got Married (ATWGM) as Sarah, Kathryn, Ella, Emilia and the entire team at ATWGM delivered the perfect destination wedding for us.
We decided to do a destination wedding in Europe after COVID canceled our original plans, and ATWGM was recommended to us by friends who got married in France. We weren’t sure exactly where we wanted to get married, so we met with Sarah initially who listened to what we were looking for broadly and then sourced potential venues for us and ultimately helped us choose a venue in Tuscany that we ended up loving.
Remotely planning a destination wedding across time zones can be a bit of a leap of faith, but Sarah’s expertise was evident and she always instilled confidence in us. Whether it was helping us navigate the different cultural norms and ways of working that we weren’t used to, or helping us think through all the logistics that arise when 80 guests are coming from America to a remote Italian countryside venue, we always felt like she provided a steady and insightful guiding hand.
From a design and aesthetics standpoint, the ATWGM team led by Guillaume, were able to perfectly translate our vision for what we wanted our wedding to be into a reality, and the fact that they were also able to provide beautiful florals in-house was an amazing value and made the planning process so much more simple.
Meanwhile, on the logistics front, Kathryn was an absolute life saver, constantly staying on top of our venue during the planning stages and helping problem-solve leading up to, and through, the wedding weekend. The team also helped us secure some amazing vendors, including a photographer who was delightful to work with and a DJ who kept our guests dancing until 3am.
Sarah, Ella, and Emilia made sure all plans came together seamlessly the weekend of our wedding. They worked effortlessly with our venue contacts to ensure all details were executed and smoothed out any issues along the way. Our wedding day saw the morning and early afternoon start with a torrential downpour of rain that had us quite worried. The team had an excellent contingency plan in place that they workshopped in real time with our venue. We did have to make the call to shift some of our plans to the rain plan, but by closely tracking the weather, they were able to do so in a way that allowed everything to still be outside. Ultimately the rain cleared up, and due to the team’s strategic planning, everything turned out beautifully. Throughout that process, the ATWGM team members were our biggest advocates with the venue and kept us all in good spirits with positivity around the rain situation.

"Sarah and team were absolutely incredible. For a bit of context, my wife and I are Americans based in NYC and wanted a château wedding in Provence. we are borderline OCD and live fairly hectic lives. we found Sarah and ATWGM after several calls with planners and immediately felt a high level of comfort. she struck a great balance between guiding us and letting us do our own envisioning, encouraging us to do some unconventional things that made us “different” and also telling us when we were proposing something totally nutty - but never in a mean way, more of “hey - not sure I would do it this way but it’s your show so if you want to, we will make it happen”.
In the end we did three events, a rehearsal dinner, wedding, and post wedding pool party / brunch. I am not sure Sarah’s team slept until the end of the pool party (this is completely serious, I think they took 2 hour naps between 4:30 and 6:30am the night of the wedding / morning of pool party).
We also relied on sarah extensively throughout the planning and guest organization process from venue hunting (she would send our itinerary and book our accommodation) to arranging transportation and travel plans for our guests.
Sarah and the ATWGM team delivered in a way that quite frankly I couldn’t have expected. During the week that was our wedding (all three events run by ATWGM and 2 separate dinners they helped us organize but did not attend) and after, we have had countless people ask us what we thought - usually after telling us it was the best wedding they’d ever been to - and we consistently reply it was amazing, perfection in every sense and exceeded our exceedingly high expectations.
Having been through a wedding now, I can tell you that something or thing(s) will not go as planned, it’s not possible for every intricate detail to be exactly as expected, however, the unique thing about working with Sarah and her team is that you essentially never notice, they work furiously to make sure the couple and the guests get the day they dream about. I could give a few great examples of this where they really saved the day without anyone even knowing at the time.
This now concludes the longest review (and only review) we have ever taken the time to write for anything - and we actually feel like it is a little too short given how great everything was.

Living in Australia, being from the UK and planning a wedding weekend in France could not have been done without Sarah's help.
Nothing was ever too much trouble and she really took the time to understand the look and feel we wanted for our wedding - and boy did she deliver!
Every detail was stunning and better than I could have imagined, everyone was blown away on the day, and rightly so!
