Some love stories take unexpected turns before finding their perfect ending. Jordana and Adrien’s September 2024 wedding at Château la Durantie was a breathtaking testament to love, resilience, and the beauty of bringing people together from all over the world. After being let down by a previous planner, they entrusted us to bring their dream wedding to life in just five months—and what a celebration it was!
A Truly Global Celebration
Jordana, originally from Brazil, and Adrien, from France, now call Estonia home. Their wedding was a beautiful reflection of their international lives, with guests flying in from all over the world to celebrate with them. While their wedding party was small—just 40 of their closest family and friends—the love and joy that surrounded them were boundless, making for an incredibly warm and intimate atmosphere.

Wedding Morning of Dreams
The wedding morning was filled with excitement as Jordana got ready with her closest friends. The bridal suite buzzed with laughter and happy tears as Anna Jazelle Beauty worked her magic on the girls. Meanwhile, Adrien shared quiet moments with his groomsmen in the games room, reflecting on the day ahead.
When everyone was ready, the couple held a 'first touch'. The moment was absolutely charged with emotion and both sides said later it was an incredibly special moment.
A Dreamy Garden Ceremony & Cocktail Hour
Jordana and Adrien exchanged vows in a romantic garden ceremony, surrounded by cypress trees, lush greenery and the elegant melodies of Ensemble Obbligato on the strings. It was a deeply personal and emotional ceremony, filled with joyful tears and heartfelt promises.
The backdrop of the ceremony was designed by Sarah and realised with the STE team, taking into account the natural beauty of the dome and making use of the structure to create a natural arch full of foliage and white autumnal blooms. We added full floor displays down the aisle to pull the design together.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds spent time with their family and friends, soaking in the joy of just having said “I do”, and capturing their group portraits. As soon as Aude Lucas (photo) and Veronika Joy (video) had finished working their magic, the guests were treated to a relaxed yet refined cocktail hour in front of the château, sipping on expertly crafted drinks and hors d'oeuvres served by l'Escapade des Sens, as the golden Dordogne sun bathed the scene in warmth. Meanwhile, our team set to work transforming the grand ceremony aisle into the dinnerscape, chandeliers and all...
Take a Shot & Take a Seat
As guests arrived for dinner, they were welcomed with a refreshing shot from our custom limoncello wall—a delightful start to the evening’s festivities. Once seated, they had the joy of witnessing Jordana and Adrien’s enchanting first dance on the château’s back terrace, a moment filled with romance and elegance. Following a series of heartfelt toasts, guests indulged in an exquisite alfresco dining experience under the stars. The setting, adorned with cascading florals, flickering candlelight, and twinkling chandeliers, created an atmosphere of pure magic, carefully brought to life by Sarah and the team in harmony with the couple’s vision, while the exceptional culinary team at l'Escapade des Sens delivered a feast that was both visually stunning and bursting with flavour.
Let Them Eat Cake!
After dinner, Jordana and Adrien cut their beautiful wedding cake, lovingly crafted by our favourite cake maker, Wooden Spoon by Cora-Lee. As a nod to Jordana’s Brazilian heritage, Cora-Lee also created a selection of traditional Brazilian sweet treats, which delighted guests and added a personal touch to the evening.
The celebration continued with a champagne tower, met with enthusiastic cheers just as a surprise fireworks display lit up the night sky . From that moment on, the party was in full swing—Kristan of DJ Halcyon Nights kept the energy electric, with Phil on the saxophone adding the perfect touch of live music magic.
A Triptych of Fun
As with the majority of our couples, Jordana and Adrien wanted to extend the joy of their wedding beyond a single day, embracing a full three days of celebrations.
They kicked things off with an intimate rehearsal dinner for 16 guests on the château’s back terrace, captured beautifully by Veronika Joy Photography, who also provided videography across all three days.
The festivities continued the day after the wedding with a laid-back barbecue catered by the venue. Though the weather had other plans and we had to move the gathering into the barn, the warmth of the group made the setting irrelevant—good food, laughter, and heartfelt conversations were the true highlights.
Bringing their Vision to Life
From the very start, it was clear that Jordana and Adrien were an absolute joy to work with—kind, gracious, and radiating love for one another. Their enthusiasm for the planning process, even after the hurdles they'd had to jump before our paths crossed, made every step a pleasure and it was an honour to bring their vision to life. We took on the planning, design, and florals, ensuring that every detail reflected their story and style.
