An engagement story spanning over two years, this wedding was well worth the wait! We first started planning in summer 2019, with an initial wedding date of August 2020. Fate had other ideas and, after 3 postponements, Jo and Dan finally celebrated their big day on the banks of Lake Maggiore, Italy, in September 2021.
Staying at the gorgeous Hotel La Palma in Stresa, Jo and Dan started their celebrations at the hotel's beach club the night before. With beautiful Italian finger food, endless Prosecco and to-die-for views of the lake, guests were definitely introduced to La Dolce Vita!
The wedding itself was held at Villa Rusconi Clerici, a late 19th Century property overlooking the iconic Borromean Islands. With culinary delicacies from Il Giardino Dei Desideri, music from Bordeaux-based band, Funky Fresh and flowers/design from our in-house brand, Sarah Thomas Florals with Guillaume Bernard Créative.
